From early July management of the Hokitika Swimming Pool project has been back in the hands of Westland District Council.
“Joseph and Associates, on behalf of Westland District Council, have led the Hokitika Pool Redevelopment through the initial stages of the project,” says Scott Baxendale, Group Manager District Assets. “The Council now has in-house resources available and assumed the full management of the project from 7 July 2023, including Cost Management and Engineer to Contract.
This transition comes at the construction stage of the project, which is well served by having a locally based project manager. Jan Visser, Facilities and Properties Manager, who has assumed the role of Project Manager on behalf of Westland District Council.
The project is making good progress and current spending is within the budget.”
