The West Coast Wilderness Trail is being diverted while work is completed on the Hokitika River Stopbank. The diversion will be in place until the end of September 2024 (weather dependent) and is signposted throughout.
Riders will need to follow the signs along Gibson Quay and Sewell Street and then turn right onto Weld Street and follow this road through town to Livingstone and Stafford Streets.
Council apologises for any inconvenience while the work is underway.
