Hokitika Museum Team are available for enquiries from 9.30 am – 4.30 pm

Te Tai - Research Centre

The centre is located at 7 Tancred Street, Hokitika 7810. For research enquiries please submit a Research Services Enquiry form.

Getting here

Hokitika Museum is located at 17 Hamilton Street, Hokitika 7810.

Entrances

There are two main entrances to Hokitika Museum, one is from 17 Hamilton Street and the other is from 7 Tancred Street. The Hamilton Street access takes you directly into the exhibition galleries (that are currently closed for redevelopment) and Tancred Street access takes you into the Te Tai - Research Centre.

Parking

There is a carpark located on the Western side of the Museum, accessible from Revell Street. It has parking spaces suitable for camper vans.

There is also 120 minute free parking in front of the Museum on Hamilton Street
