Westland Arts Incorporated and Westland District Library are collaborating to make a free exhibition space available.
Art @ the Library is a small, nimble and flexible project that aims to provide exhibition space for artistic and innovative proposals.
Pen plays with paper, photography and light to explore ideas and tell stories.
The works on display at the library are part of Pen's response to the Left Bank Art Gallery's members show having the subject of gleam.
The show opens on July 19th and runs until August 24th at the
Left Bank Art Gallery
1 Tainui Street, Greymouth.
Some common synonyms of gleam are flash, glimmer, glint, glisten, glitter, shimmer and sparkle. While all these words mean "to send forth light", gleam suggests a steady light seen through an obscuring medium or against a dark background.
