Art @ the Library
Westland Arts Incorporated and Westland District Library are collaborating to make a free exhibition space available.
Art @ the Library is a small, nimble and flexible project that aims to provide exhibition space for artistic and innovative proposals.
Current Exhibit:
Horizon
Westland Arts Inc. Members Exhibition
Members of WAI were invited to make work on the theme 'Horizon' on a standard 20x20 canvas. The work could be in any medium but had to be mounted on the canvas.
The resulting exhibition features 16 artists' interpretations of the theme in a range of mediums from oil, pastels, photography and flax to embroidery stitches and sand.

If you would like to purchase any of the artworks please speak to library staff for the artists' contact details.
If you are interested in being a part of the Art@the Library project and exhibiting your creative works we encourage you to read through the guidelines and submit an application (linked below). Paper applications may be collected from and returned to Westland District Library.
