Elderly housing

Elderly housing is owned and managed by Westland District Council's CCO, Destination Westland.

The portfolio was transferred to their ownership in July 2021, following consultation on the Long Term Plan 2021 - 2031. There are 55 elderly housing units in Westland, 51 in Hokitika and four in Ross. Destination Westland intends to build or acquire more units in the future.
